The Dell Latitude series has been a main stay for many years now. The Latitude is designed as more of a business grade laptop focusing on reliability and security with minimal excess features.

The Dell Inspiron series has been around for many years as well, and unlike the Latitude, these laptops are more feature rich. The Inspiron is designed to be more of a personal computer concentrating on features such as multimedia capabilities.

Several of the laptops which I have owned over the years have had extremely long lives, meaning even 6 to 8 years old is fantastic for a computer being laptop or desktop.

So many times it is easy to upgrade an older laptop to include features which it may not have. For example a laptop wireless adapter which most newer laptops already have built-in. Well it is certainly a simple DIY computer repairs type of upgrade to simply add a USB laptop wireless adapter.

I often recommend this option because if you can get a laptop under 200 dollars which may or may not have wireless capabilities already (many in our selection do) then for not much more at all, maybe $10 in our selection of laptop wireless adapters you can upgrade to being able to access the wireless network and Internet.

We offer lots of great ideas to our shoppers when it comes to cheap laptops. I work on laptops and desktops (and routers, printers, servers, etc…) every day. Most of my work is now done remotely which makes for some rather interesting situations in its own right.

Enjoy shopping at Priceit.biz where our business is cheap laptops under $200 and remember when the good deals and bargains are gone we will have more.

If you ever need to eject a disc from your optical drive but you do not have a power source or the drive simply will not eject when you attempt to do this by pushing on the eject button or through Windows, then you can resolve this non-eject issue by using a straightened out paper clip.

Most optical drives meaning CD / DVD drives will have a small hole on the front face of them. Use a straightened out paper clip and carefully insert it into this little hole and it will eject the disk which happens to be stuck in your optical drive.
