Refurbished laptops under 300 dollars for example typically offer the benefits of new laptops yet at considerably reduced prices. Once the laptop hardware has undergone and passed stringent testing, the original software is installed just as it was during the initial production process. When each laptop model is manufactured it will have an image which is stored in a database at the factory where the laptop was produced. This image includes the operating system as well as all of the device drivers for the components and any manufacturer specific software.
